Honey, this slate roof is serving pure elegance. The crew installed it flawlessly — clean, solid, and built like a tank. Dark, textured, and giving major chateau vibes that make the house look expensive. It laughs at rain and wind, and it’s clearly going to last forever. Affordability? Surprisingly smart, darling! Yes it’s an upfront investment, but the crazy longevity means no replacing cheap shingles every 15 years. Over time it basically pays for itself and then some. Total money saver in the long run. We recently had our 7,500 square-foot home roof replaced by Slate Stone Construction, and I can confidently say they exceeded expectations from start to finish. They came in right in the middle on pricing — not the cheapest, not the most expensive — but the quality of work and execution was second to none. The communication throughout the entire process was outstanding, and Spencer Andres made everything seamless, especially when it came to navigating the insurance side of things. He kept us informed every step of the way and made what could have been a stressful process feel easy. What really confirmed we made the right choice was seeing what happened with some of our neighbors. They went with other companies that were more cheaper, and now they’re dealing with incomplete work and ongoing repairs. Meanwhile, our project was handled professionally and completed the right way the first time. I had a great experience from start to finish. Spencer did a great job and was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure the job was done the right way. What stood out the most was the attention to detail and quality of the work. Spencer showed up on time, communicated well, and treated the project with care. It is hard to find someone reliable, honest, and truly committed to doing great work, but he definitely exceeded my expectations. We truly believe that God has a plan for everything and that plan brought Brett to our door at just the right time. A few weeks ago, we had a very frustrating experience with another company, Rome Exteriors. We paid them $3,500 for roofing work, and for three weeks, no one showed up. We called multiple times, got no clear answers, and started to feel hopeless and taken advantage of. Then one day, Brett from Slateston Construction LLC knocked on our door. From the first conversation, he was professional, kind, and very knowledgeable. He listened to our concerns, didn’t pressure us, and treated us with respect. Brett and the Slateston team followed through on everything they promised. The work was done quickly, cleanly, and with great care. We can honestly say that everything turned around because of Brett. I was introduced to Justin and the guys at Slate Stone through my real estate team, and since the first time I used them to work with a client, they've never let me down.  Not only have they helped inspect some things at my own home, but I even had them replace the roof on my mom's home as well. Troy with Slate Stone Construction is amazing! We called him out for an estimate on our roof & it was done next day. Roof was up in a day just a few days later & was no hassle for us at all! During home inspection, we found the previous roofer had installed low efficiency vents, and our exhaust pipes had insufficient roofing clearance. With closing and an out-of-state move looming, our realtor put us in touch with Slate Stone Construction: good move. We worked exclusively with Troy and Ian: through Troy, we got our quote quickly and got the work scheduled within a couple of days. Despite their workload and a round of unseasonably inclement weather, Ian worked very diligently to get everything done as quickly and professionally as possible. Other than the new installations, he left zero construction footprint. Solid communication all the way through kept us connected and in the loop. During every phase, we appreciated their patience, attention to detail and can-do attitude. We hired Slate Stone to handle our roof replacement after we called them about a leak. From their expertise and experience, Brian and Chris were able to identify damage caused by a known storm event. Their knowledge and partnership was a great asset when dealing with our insurance company and keeping the process moving. Brian continued to follow-up and help navigate the claim process. We are very satisfied with the professionalism and the quality of job Slate Stone did.
